Southern Rural Health Care Selects Marmann & Irons as Auditor
Sheffield, Alabama, June 9, 2004 —
Marmann & Irons, P.C. announced today that Southern Rural Health Care
Consortium selected Marmann & Irons to replace BKD, LLP, St. Louis, MO., as the principal auditor for the consortium. Southern Rural Health Care provides a variety of health care services through centers in 23 counties in Alabama. The consortium is growing its services to rural citizens and Alabama's non-urban counties.
Southern Rural Health Care is continuing to expand its operations at a time when many other health care providers in rural counties are shrinking their offerings.
Commenting for the CPA firm Stephen Irons,
Partner noted that Marmann & Irons provides services to public companies, private firms and sophisticated not for profit corporations. "We are certainly pleased to have been selected by Southern Rural Health Care as their auditor. They provide a much needed service to Alabamians that might otherwise go unfulfilled," he said.
Southern Rural Health Care Consortium delivers home health services, primary health care services and services for the elderly and disabled in rural Alabama. Headquartered in Russellville, Alabama, the firm employs 200 health care professionals in 23 counties throughout the state. All physicians are board certified.
